New Fossicking and Camping Area at Grawin

With more than 5000 people expected in Lightning Ridge for this weeks Easter Festival, the timing couldn't have been more perfect for the Grawin Club in the Scrub to open up a new camping area for caravanners, motorhomes, tents and swags!

Possibly even more exciting is the release of a new fossicking area; Visitors are free to sift through opal mine tailings at the new "specking area." Avid ‘noodlers’ may find small opals or pieces of colourful potch in the tailings.
