Walgett Shire Council sincerely acknowledges the Traditional Custodians and First People of the lands in which we live, work and grow, the Gamilaroi & Yuwaalaraay people of the Gomeroi nation - We pay our respect to all Elders both past, present and emerging and acknowledge their spiritual connection to the lands, waterways within the Walgett Shire.
